Get Involved in Hands-On Outreach!
The Adult Mission Group seeks out places where their team can make a difference. They repair houses, renovate community centers, re-hab, garden and have even built a yurt. (Ask them; they'd love to explain.) They work hard, pray hard and play hard and are basically a lot of fun to be around. Opportunities range from partial-day Saturday to week-long commitments. All adults are invited to join. Contact the Adult Mission Group for more information.
Their message: "We very much wish to share the joy of the adult mission group's outreach ministry with you and the experience of always getting back from each project tenfold of what you have given. Please join us to learn more and to have all of your questions answered. All adults are encouraged to join the fun and planning for projects and trips."

Hosting Minneapolis Youth Mission Group June 19-24 - 1st Pres Adult Mission Group members will host this group led by Pastor Meghan Gage Finn and assist them in various ways, ensuring that they have a postive experience in our area.

Garden Gathers (Hunger Ministry) Summer 2011: 1st Pres's Men’s group has agreed to build raised garden beds for growing fresh produce on church property. AMG and other congregation members will help plant and tend the gardens. We're also sponsoring The Great Tomato Give Away – we will collect 48 tomato plants on May 22 from Northville PC for our youth and families to plant and grow for the hunger ministry.
