As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), we believe that our salvation is assured through faith in Jesus Christ. Therefore, God calls us for service to others. We are led to promote and practice a life that nourishes all peoples and life on the planet God has entrusted to our care. In governance, we stress representational active leadership of both ministers and church members, who serve as elders and deacons.
Protestant Reformation. Our heritage, and much of what we believe, began with John Calvin (1509-1564), whose writings crystallized much of the Reformed thinking that came before him.
