Rebuilding Together

What is Rebuilding Together?

It's a nation-wide non-profit program that works to preserve affordable homeownership and to revitalize communities.  Through its more than 200 affiliates, free rehabilitations and critical repairs are provided to low income home owners.

Why participate?  We help because we can.  Rebuilding Together accomplishes their work through volunteers. Our congregation has financially sponsored a local house every year since 2004 and has participated hands-on since 2005.

When:

The Rebuilding Together-Oakland County work day, a one-day-blitz outreach project, is usually the last Saturday in April.
2011 Workday:   - May 7, 8:30am to 5:00pm  (View May 7th Flyer)
Two houses in Farmington Hills  (House Captains: Tom Neal & Jim Graves) are scheduled for repair and improvement  (see full project list for supplies and labor needed).  Everyone, including older youth, are encouraged to consider volunteering.
Close to 500 people participate in the Farmington-Farmington Hills work day including almost 50 people from our congregation. View some of the work done in our community...
