High School Youth GroupWhere do high hopes meet high adventure? At our senior high youth group.
Our senior highs get together weekly, usually on Sundays right after church. They have fun together, while sharing their faith and
 friendship with each other, and find ways to help out in our church family and in our community. Some weeks their activities will be devoted simply to fun. Other weeks they'll be involved in a local mission or take on a project at the church. Each week they also meet after worship for sermon reflections, fellowship, and a shared meal.
 During the winter, they find the time to go on a weekend retreat up north that includes an afternoon of snow tubing.
In between their activities, they work throughout each school year to plan and raise funds for their summer mission trip. These mission trips are very meaningful to them; travel, devotions, companionship and hard work come together to work changes in the lives of the people they help and in the lives of the teens themselves.
Mission trip destinations are on a four year cycle: work in an urban population, rural population, other population type (such as a Native American area) and international location. We have an on-going relationship with an initiative on the Yucatán peninsula in Mexico.
