Our Children's Ministries and Education include
Sunday School
Sunday School for preschoolers – 8th graders is held during the worship service. Children begin worship in the sanctuary with their families and leave for their classes after the Time with the Children. There is no Sunday School on the first Sunday of each month so that families can worship and celebrate Communion together.
Sunday Infant and Toddler Care
Babies and Toddlers are lovingly cared for by our professional childcare staff beginning at 9:00 each Sunday and continuing through the worship service.
Our Midweek Program
Our mid-week program that nurtures the faith and fellowship of children and youth in grades 1-8. We meet on Wednesdays from 5 – 7:15 pm for Bible Study, Games and Crafts, a family style meal, and Music each week. PK Club bridges the gap between Sundays, strengthening friendships and families.
Our Preschool
For more than 40 years, Farmington Presbyterian Nursery School has been offering the preschoolers of the Farmington area a warm and loving environment in which to prepare for Kindergarten
Vacation Bible School
VBS is held for one week in August every summer to share the good news of Jesus Christ with children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade. We work cooperatively with Antioch Lutheran and North Congregational Churches to create what we think is the biggest and best VBS program in all of Farmington Hills!
First Presbyterian is proud to sponsor Boy Scout Troup 179, Cub Scout Pack 179 and Venture Crew 179 and to host and support Girl Scout Group #4-5232.
