Farmington Presbyterian Preschool
is a non-profit preschool for 3- and 4-year old children sponsored by First Presbyterian Church of Farmington and licensed by the State of Michigan. Established in 1968, we have educated hundreds of young children and offer an experienced and proven preschool program with an excellent reputation. All children of the community are welcome.
- The Tuesday-Thursday program is our 3 year-old program
- The Monday-Wednesday-Friday program is our 4 year-old program.
- The Kindergarten Preparedness Program is a supplement to our 4 year-old program.
Classes begin the first full week after Labor Day and end in late May.
Our Board of Directors is made up of five parent volunteers and handles all business aspects of the school. The Board reports to the Session of the First Presbyterian Church (the church's governing body) through a Session liaison.
Our Tuition: We maintain our founding mission: offering an affordable and high quality preschool experience for all children. Because we are non-profit and enjoy the sponsorship of First Presbyterian Church of Farmington, our tuition is significantly lower than the public school as well as comparable private programs in the area.
Tuition costs and payment options are on theEnrollment Application. The Nursery School also continues its tradition of offering scholarships to one or two students each year; if you know of someone in need, please contact the school.
Enrollment: Open enrollment begins February 1st and is on a first-come first-served basis. To enroll your child you must submit a completed Enrollment Application (download above or call 248-474-9752 to have one mailed to you) and a non-refundable enrollment deposit. Once classes are filled, we maintain a wait list.
Our Non-discrimination Policy: The Nursery School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational, admissions or other policies or school related programs.
Our History: dates back to 1967, when a group of young mothers at First Presbyterian made an observation that spurred them into action. more...
