Everyone is welcome at First Pres!

What time do you start?
Our Sunday mornings begin at 9:00 a.m. with Adult Education. Gathering music begins in the sanctuary at 9:45 to joyfully prepare our hearts and minds for worship at 10:00.

Will I feel at home in your worship service?

What about my kids?
Children and youth are always welcome in our worship services and we have a nursery for infants and toddlers. We provide several options for families with children and youth. You choose what is right for your family. [Read more ...]

What if I have trouble walking? Hearing?
Our building is fully handicap accessible and barrier free. We have space set aside for wheelchairs down the center aisle toward the front of the sanctuary as well as in the rear of the sanctuary. Please ask an usher if you need to borrow one of our wheelchairs. There is an elevator in the coffee area if you need to reach the second floor. Our ushers are also happy to provide you with a large print bulletin or a hearing assistance device to allow you to control the volume of the spoken words in the service. All of the words in our service are projected onto a screen in the upper left corner of the chancel (the choir area).

Where are the bathrooms? (And other points of interest)
From the main entrance, the sanctuary is to your immediate right, the nursery is through the double doors to your left and up the short staircase, and adult education classes are on the second floor, using either the stairway or the elevator in the coffee area (straight back from the entrance). And last, if you keep walking through the coffee area, the bathrooms will be to your right. If there’s anything you can’t find, or if you have any questions, please ask at the Information Booth at the main entrance. We’ll be glad to help! [Diagram of our building.]

Where should I park?
We have ample parking on the west side of our church building. Our main entrance has a covered portico for easy passenger drop-offs. [Map]
